Background: My windshield was cracked by a rock, and when the Safelite guy came out to replace it, he couldn't as he did an electronics check, and there was an "Image Processing" code of U0565-82 ... which means he wasn't allowed to change the windshield, as he couldn't properly calibrate it after the windshield replacement.

So, I called Big Valley Ford (here in Stockton, CA) and they picked up my car and kept it overnight. Their electronics guy found some historical codes, and cleared everything, so now the windshield guy can do his thing.

BUT ... after they dropped off my car, I ran an errand and when I returned home, I backed into the garage (as I usually do), and the display freaked out! I pulled forward, and re-backed in, this time with my phone recording video of the screen.

SO, here it is. Has anyone out there seen this sort of issue?

That was an extremely minor communication "glitch" code that should not have prevented replacement of the windshield.

I wonder what the dealer did (can you share their notes?), but they almost definitely screwed it up. It's possible it just needs to be recalibrated correctly, but otherwise something failed in your IPMA.

Image Processor (I forget what “MA” stands for). It’s part of the system that recognizes certain things (I believe speed signs, pedestrians and such).
