I have an Extended battery AWD. In theory the range should be 270 miles.

When I charge it to 80% the displayed range only shows 198 (versus 216). Does the display range already accounts for other factors? Or is it something wrong?

The car will learn your driving habits and adjust the guess.

It's called a GOM (Guess-O-Meter) for a reason.

If you look at the miles per kWh and do some quick math you'll have a good idea of what's going on for real.

What's mileage is showing for Mi/kWh?

Um...it is.
Great! Then I guess I don't understand how sticky threads work on this forum. Do you mean the "Similar threads" at the bottom? I'm on another forum where there are sticky threads that are at the top of the list.

Mark, look at the Forum "Batteries & Charging". It is a Sticky at the top and is labeled as such.

This is the problem with forums in general. Stickies are fine, but who’s going to look for a sticky thread under a forum or sub-forum if they’re looking for a quick answer? If we’re lucky, they’ll do a search for “display range” and get either zero hits or 372,546,231 hits. Then give up and post their question. ;)

Thanks. Now I understand. The stickers are within-subforum. That works. Now I understand why I see such stickies in F-150 Lightning as it’s a sub-forum within the F-150 Gen14 Forum.

Now we just need people to look before the post!
