Are there any known issues regarding the speakers sounding distorted or rattling? Mine are messed up. To me it's pretty obvious. I think it's the center or wherever the primary annoying beeps originate from when you start the car. It's less noticeable on music but there is more going on.

I'm taking it in to the dealer soon but sometimes it helps to come prepared. ?

You may want to check the charge on your 12v battery. I believe that's a sign the charge is low.

With regards to ratteling check the screws of the Subwoofer. This is a known issue.

My center speaker had a clear buzz / distortion to it for some time. I went ahead and replaced it, it was extremely easy to do.

I have the same issue, I popped the cover on the center speaker (very easy, used a credit card) Looks like the speaker is only held in with two screws so I ordered a new speaker.

Mine sounded like static. Repaired under warranty many moons ago.
