Do not use Florida Turnpike

Florida turnpike does not support EV drivers !!! No non Tesla chargers at the north most service center, and chargers not working at the Duke Energy chargers at the following 2 service centers. That is 150 miles !!!!

I feel like this is basically the state of DCFC across most of the US right now.

Yup try going east from Huntsville AL to North of Atlanta in winter with reduced range. I have 1 stop in Rome GA, which is at a convention center and no quick serve food or near by public restrooms. Hitting any station anywhere where else adds 30 to 40 mind driving

The CFL turnpike rest stop is where that guy had the DCFC fry his Mach-E. So no I wouldn’t even stop there if I could.

Yep always looking for FPL chargers now. For an evil company their DCFC is surpassingly reliable.

I am a huge Disney fan so I go down to the Orlando area several times a year. I just enjoy the stereotypes of both Floridians and tourists to Florida ?

Best climate to own an EV since the coldest it gets here is the 30's once or twice a year. I have 230+ mile range at 90% most days.

It's all good so far in south Florida along the turnpike. Haven't had any issues with FPL Evolution along the turnpike.
We could always do with a few more charge stations at each stop....

2 years into EV ownership, I thought I would see a meaningful increase in chargers... If that is happening, I don't notice it.

I do see more EVs, but I don't see many new chargers.
