I thought I had the motion sensors taped over, but dog would set them off anyway. Found that leaving window open , sticking my arm in and waving around sets off motion alarm. Now don't have to wait for dog to cooperate. Am I correct that the motion sensor "windows" are the two "vents" facing rearward and one in the front of tha overhead facing forward? Any others?

1) Change car timer to not shutoff (currently 30 minutes).
2) Leave car running.
3) Close door, hit 7/8 9/0 on keypad to lock door.

Bring up sketch on the screen and write "HELP! I locked myself in the car! Get my owner! - Dog"

Thanx; seen that "solution" before. Leaves too much stuff running (lights, heated seats & steering wheel, HVAC)

impact to battery would be very minimal, you can also turn the lights and other stuff off? Why wouldn't you leave the Car on with HVAC? that's the whole point of dog mode

Don't trust Ford. I get Fordpass warnings of Reduced Mileage Capacity if the flashers are turned on (by the dog). Only Dog Mode I want is no alarms. I leave windows open enough for ventilation. Enough here in VA.

Not telling you what is best for the dog, but that message comes on when the DC-DC converter activates to charge the LVB. The LVB needed charging because of said Dog's move :)

I've camped in the car several times using the trick mentioned above to keep it running. Never had a problem with the car turning off. Just be sure to disable the 30 minute timer every time you do that, because turns itself back on after the next start. (Yes, it's a pain, etc etc)

Love the MME except for the control system. Probably just as much electronics in my Ridgeline, but much better mannered. IIRC, Honda still doesn't have a pure EV.

Wait - you don’t WANT HVAC running in “dog mode”? Isn’t that the entire point of “dog mode”? 🤔

This.

Also, to anyone concerned that the vehicle could be stolen, the MME has secure park so just be sure that you take your fobs with you and that your vehicle will be out of range for PAAK. If someone does manage to get into the car somehow then they still won't be able to shift the car out of park. Very cool, Ford. Very cool.

The only Dog Mode I want is no alarms. I leave the windows open enough for ventilation but not enough for escape (blue eyed husky)

Listen guys, he prefers his dog near death in the summer rather than WASTE 1-2% of battery at most, ok?!??

I've checked Ignore Thread. Forum is becoming less helpful than in the past. Adieu

OK, tried that method yesterday. Strangest part was having the cooling system(s) cycling on & off. Think I read somewhere that there are three: one for motors, another for drive electronics and one for the battery. Since I wasn't moving I expect the first two shouldn't run. If current is as low as claimed, I'd be surprised that battery discharge would require cooling. Had the fob in my pocket working around the yard. Since MME was ON, the markers wouldn't light to welcome me, as expected. But after a couple hours, markers came on as did the DRLs. I also lost about 2% charge. Still needs a Mother Ford fix.
