Drive Mode re-naming possible?

Is it possible to rename the drive modes?

Thinking Weather, Eco, Touring, Sport and Track make more sense than Whisper, Unbridled, etc.

Touring would be the default.

Track would only be on the GTs.

Yes, I am borrowing this from one of my other cars.

This is really “sub-optimal”. These labels mean almost nothing themselves.

The labels should not illicit a “I’m going to have to look up what this means” response.

Probably not.

I was referring to user interfaces for electronic devices.

But think about it. Ford did pay somebody to come up with those names and at least one somebody else had to approve!

I showed them to my wife and she said: “haha, nice mock-up. What are they really called?” I had to explain this was not a joke.

I fiddled with these when I first got the car, then realized, with 1 PD driving on, they mean close to diddley-squat. I ended up at "Engage". For what reason, you ask? Because it is the least distracting of the 3 modes on the instrument display. Not because of power, braking, rev engine sounds; nope, just because it is the least distracting. Bah. This naming convention was a failure by Ford, IMHO.
