Driver door does not open when I approach the car

Hi. I'm sure other people have had this happen. Recently when I approach the car the drivers door will not open. Only the rear passenger door will open. I haven't tried any other door. I called my dealer but they don't have a an appointment on Saturday. So I won't be able to go for a while

Assuming with key fob and not PAAK exclusively? BCM update should take care of this. There was an SSM for this I've linked.

Yes I'm using the key fob. I wish ford would just send me an over the air update to fix this.

Disconnect and then reconnect your 12v battery. I had this exact same issue, dealer told me I needed a new door latch module. I disconnected the 12v battery and it is fixed.

That's how you get to it. Then all you have to do is disconnect one end of the battery for a short time. I did it so it couldn't be that hard. lol

Ugh. Mine started doing this again a couple of days ago. PITA to get to the battery but better than driving all of the way to the dealer I suppose. Will try it tonight

UPDATE: Did it last night and it worked but, interestingly, the car then proceeded to charge to 100% that night instead of the 90% I have set up for my home charger. I checked the charge settings and it still shows the 90% target. We'll see if it returns to stopping at 90% tonight I guess.
