I just woke up this morning to a charging error. I use a Wallbox pulsar pro and I’ve never seen this before. The FordPass app said.Charging error.

I went to my car and the on screen message said “electrical system drain. Service required”

23.5 MME

Please advise
Thanks

Actually if anyone has any thoughts as to why this may have happened I’m open. Had driven the vehicle several times during the day. Two of the drives were over 25 mins each. Plugged in the MME at 10pm upon return home and charging started at 11.

Woke up this morning with the error.

12V shouldn’t be drained.
Nothing else suspect or different than usual.

The only time I’ve seen this in my car was after submitting feedback via the Sync system. Not sure what processes that kicks off aside from sending a voicemail to Ford, but was the only time I’ve experienced it.

Most likely you had a charge fault like FordPass said and it kept the vehicle awake in this state which dropped the 12v. As long as you don't repeatedly get either the charge fault or electrical drain message you are fine and it was a one time thing

I had it recently and contacted my service advisor. He was supposed to get back to me but never did. I guess I will call him again. Thanks for reminding me. It happened to me when it was over 100 degrees and I never plugged in because the car had plenty of miles. Now that it has cooled at night it no longer happens.

Most likely triggered by the charging fault, could be something like it wasn’t plugged in all the way. No action necessary unless it happens again.

It happened again.

can someone remind me where I’m able to look at the 12v charge % these days? I don’t have FORScan.

Thanks

Hi there. This charging fault concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Mach-E.
