I called my electric company First Energy (JCP&L in NJ) based on a few suggestions from the Mach E board to see if they offered any incentives for PEVs and EVSEs. As it turns out, they did not have any  (although I did see one for Chevy Volt and a Nissan LEAF on their website). They do offer the Average Payment Plan (APP), where it basically Levels out your Electric Bill.
Good news is New Jersey is offering A $1,500 grant toward the purchase of a dual-port Level 2 EV charging station.

Question, I know the answer is "it depends on how often you drive the car and consume KWH from charging the EV" but Im trying to get an average/estimate kWH so I can figure out the additional electric costs per year e.g. a Swag amount?

My current usage for the past 13 months

For a larger house, the average size comes out to around 4,000 square feet and the average amount of energy consumed within a home this size is around 26,400 kWh/annual (this is inline with my house w 4 kids and a pool). For smaller homes around 2,000 square feet it would be around 15,900 kWh/annual

Im seeing about $0.14 USD per kWh that my electric company is charging me.

I read "Mach-E’s 84 MPGe, using 33.705 kilowatt-hours per gallon, converts to 2.49 miles per kwh"
Using that assumption, if I were to drive 20K miles in a given year + only using my home EVSE to charge my Mach E, I would add approx. $1,124 USD to my annual electric bill. By my calculations...

Did I do that calculation right?

FWIW: According to my utility provider, the average annual cost for home charging an EV is $400 a year, although they don’t have details beyond that.

My electric provider charges rates between $0.09-$0.12/kwh depending on how much you use. The more you use, the lower it goes. So I have just been calculating my charging at $0.10/kwh. At that rate, a full charge of the battery will be just under $9. You also will have a little more due to what is lost to efficiency.

This is my charge after a typical daily commute to work and back.

And this is a charge that went from around 5% to 100%

Just figure 3 miles per kWh. So driving 10K miles a year would be 3333 kWh. At $.14/kWh that's $466. For 20K miles that would be $933.

Easier to compare the cost per mile. At $.14/ kWh you're paying $.04-$.05/mile. For a vehicle that gets 25 MPG that would be gas at $1.25/gallon.
