Experience with granny chargers

Hey folks. New EV owner here

Does anyone have any experience of this charger or similar? https://www.evchargingcablestore.co...plugs-10a-16a-32a-adapter-230v-charging-cable

I'm looking for a granny charger as I'm sometimes in locations where there isn't an EV charger (Yes I know the charge times will be SLOW, but I'd be there long enough to top the car up).

I'm liking the above as it's 13/16/32 amp (All of which I could make use of), but I've not seen any others on the market that can do all of those so a little skeptical....

It looks like Ford UK has travel connectors for the included mobile EVSE. Many of them are out of stock on that web site, but maybe check with your local Ford retailer to see if they can get you the ones you want.

Was there any reason why you didn’t want to use the one that comes with the Mach-E as standard? It can do all the things the one you quoted can.

Should I have got something else instead? RE the above post, that looks ideal, and I'd be happier with a ford solution, just couldn't find the "unit" for the modules.... (Waiting for my dealer to call me back for some information, unless you have any knowledge?)

Dealer phoned me and I was asking if the vehicles are not supplied with these any more and how much it would cost to buy one. He kindly pointed out if I tried looking under the base in the boot, it would be there. And will you look at that..... It's there!

That should have been included in your handover with the dealer. Once again, shoddy sales rep.!!!! Makes me wonder how some of these dealers sell ANY cars.

Well I’m glad it was there and they hadn’t fiddled you out if your Varicharger unit. It’s worth about £700 - so not to be sniffed at!
