Failed 2.6.0 OTA Club

Everyone’s getting all of these updates and I’m still sitting on a successful 2.6.0 for years. (Okay, it’s really a month, but it feels like years since it’s even tried to do a download of any kind.)

I’m starting to think it may be possible to have this working for a short road trip I have planned for July! Seems like once you get to 2.8.1 then the last two follow quickly! That said, it has taken about a month to get from 2.6.0 to 2.8.1.

I have been on 2.7.1 for a week. Last time I bitched about it here when I was on 2.6.0 my next update queued up within a hour. Hoping for the same this time LOL

so I started this thread on May 23rd a few days after my 2.6.0 failed, so we're almost at a month to get this out, which I don't think is terrible? Way better than dealing with the dealership IMO.

Absolutely, I just REALLY REALLY don't want to ever go in to the dealer again. In other news; Carfax just emailed me that my Mach-E has a recall. Guess that list is starting to get out...

First time? It will try again in a week, or maybe sooner. You might get the no-named update like I did that certain vehicles need.

It's already tried to install 2.3.0 and now 2.6.0 (which replaced 2.3.0 as I understand it) Confused? You will be. A no name update installed a few days ago. It also installed 2.1.0 twice

yeah, 2.1.0 multiple times is normal. It might just be skipping 2.6.0 cause you already had it or didn't need it.

I'm right there with ya. Yesterday was a month since 2.6.0 for me.

yeah, 2.1.0 multiple times is normal. It might just be skipping 2.6.0 cause you already had it or didn't need it.

2.6.0 hasn't installed as still got the vertical volume bar and not the horizontal volume bar.
