After owning the MME for 2.5 months, I've received two OTA "attempts". One was at the end of May, while the other was earlier this week. For both times, I received a message in my FordPass app that the updates have failed, "It's OK. We'll try again soon". If I manually go into the update menu in the car center screen, I can't get the update. Seems like these updates are pushed according to Ford's timing, so I can't download the update when I want to try again.

Does anyone have the same issues? The app didn't give specific reasons why the updates failed. It said that there could be a number of factors. I just hope that it's not something wrong with my car (built in March, not sure if they improved the OTA system since then).

Same here on the last one and never got another message if it actually completed.

Do you let you MME connect to your home wifi when it is parked? Is it is in a concrete parking garage that blocked cell signals the car won't be able to download.

Contact your dealer and see if they can get that update installed if you can't get it working.

Yes, connected to WIFI in my garage but the falling asleep thing could be interfering, not sure. Ford says little on OTA's and really is a void overall. I am also in the beta program but haven't seen anything come forward on that either.

I can't even tell if mine has attempted any of the OTA updates. I keep checking when I'm connected to WiFi in the garage and all I get is my system is up to date. Even if it's successful I would have no clue that it was....still love my car though.

Just had another failed OTA notice in my FordPass app today. That's 0 for 3 for updates to my MME. Should I be concerned? Is the problem my car or at Ford's side?
