It has taken me a long time to come to the conclusion that need to hire someone with a FDRS to reconfigure my BMS to account for the modules I removed to fit the system into my 1965 Ford Falcon .Is there a knowable shop to perform the task? I have wasted so much time with FORScan ,Kvaser , CSS CL1000 , PEK CAN etc Is there a reputable shop in the metro Vancouver area with FDRS that can reconfigure my BCM ?
Thanks JT

I don't think FDRS is the solution here for what you want to accomplish. FDRS will most likely throw a hissy fit when you plug it in and it detects whatever Frankenstein conversion you did to the Falcon. Sounds like a really cool car......I'm not knocking ya. I'm just saying FDRS is very finicky and will most likely fail to do any programming.

I hope you figure it out. I don't know what you did to that Falcon, but it sounds awesome!

I suspect you’ll need to get a Raspberry Pi (maybe AutoPi hardware), some CAN interface boards (PiCAN2 and/or PiCAN3), and brush up on some Python (python-can) so you can intercept the messages to those modules you’ve removed and send appropriate responses when required.

Thanks for the input. I’ve kinda come to the same conclusion . I suspect a better choice would be some sort of emulator, I ‘ve not had luck sourcing one

I think you’ll need a third party BMS to manage it.
What is a third party BMS?

First of all, that car looks absolutely legendary! 🤩 I did solar car in my undergrad years and volunteer for the Formula Sun Grand Prix and American Solar Challenge (collegiate solar car events), so maybe I can give you a few breadcrumbs.

A BMS is a Battery Management System. It monitors the battery's voltage and current levels to ensure safe operation. It is also where the state of charge calculations are performed. By omitting certain modules, the Ford BMS will find that those cells are not healthy and refuse to energize the high-voltage bus. You might be able to fake the missing modules out, or like @E90alex says, use a third-party Battery Management System.

Solar car teams often use the Orion BMS: https://www.orionbms.com/. AEM provides another option: https://www.aemelectronics.com/brands/aem_ev/

Note:
The BCM is not the BMS.

The OP is looking for help with getting rid of recurring DTCs that are irrelevant to their vehicle, which doesn’t have various parts that the Mustang had but were unnecessary or unwanted on their Falcon.

For example, the Mustang’s headlights are such a module, or at least that appears to be the case according to the photo.

The question is how does one tell the CANBUS that the headlight modules (and others) are not part of the vehicle anymore?
