Does the service documentation available through FRDS include information on accessing and decoding the vehicle data via the OBD connector?
I am reading from the OBDII connector using mode 22 so I supply a module ID and a device ID and get a response with the data I need. For example, reading from Module ID 0x7E4 (BECM) and Device ID 0x4843 will return me a 32-bit word with one bit letting me know the vehicle is plugged in but I have no idea what the other 31 bits might encode and could be usefu tracking the vehicle state.
