I am happy with my canvas back liner.

Had one in my Escape and it was one of the first things I got for my Mustang.

I got the long cut so it will cover with my floor up or down.

Made specifically for the MME.

Have you looked at WeatherTec?
I did, but they don't fit with the seats down. Which seems odd, but that's what I saw most frequently.
"Designed to fit with adjustable cargo floor in the top position."
But I might go with them for floor liners.

That's what seems best so far, but I didn't go through every single choice in the CARiD list. The Canvasback description was a little confusing when comparing the long & short version, but it's good to know that it works for you. Thanks for the pics and for including Dug.

You’re welcome.

You can choose your color and length.

The pictures are with the floor down.

I chose the plaid as my car is Star White with a black interior.

The long version is about 6” longer so it covers everything when you have the floor down and the back seats down.

I have had the canvas back liners in my vehicles for over 10 years and they hold up great. Easy to clean and install. It’s a Velcro hook type installation. Very easy.

As you can see you can customize it if you want.

The cost is a little high but in my opinion well worth the price.

The other source you cited looked to me that they were just mats that cover the floor only and not the back of the seats.

I have the Ford liners and am very happy with them. Not sure why people would go with weathertek (a buddy has weathertec and the quality doesn’t seem to be any better).

That's strange because I have one in the cargo area and it fits when seats are down or up.

Because of the pitch of the seat backs, the cargo floor in the lower position is a different length than the cargo floor in the upper position. If the floor liner fits perfectly in the upper position, it will be slightly too small in the lower position. Seat backs up or down doesn’t affect this, but some floor liners have a lip on them, which makes them fit not so well when the seat backs are down and the cargo floor is in its upper position. ?‍♂?
