Had to take my wife to a medical appointment about 2 hours away. Arrived at clinic with 52% charge left so wanted a little reserve to get home. There is an EA charging station at a Sheetz on the way back and PlugShare showed all working with one in use. Pulled in and a BMW was charging. Pulled into a stall, plugged in the cord, and waited. Took about 20-30 seconds for it to authorize for my free charging. Only charged for 12 minutes and got 24kwh. I was really surprised at how quick it was.

This was my first time using a CCS connection - i had only used level 2 chargers before. I thought the cable was really heavy and the connector awkward to handle. Screen was difficult to see due to angle of sun. Otherwise it was a simple and pleasant experience.

I also did my first electrify America charge the other day! We have an upcoming trip that's about 1.5 hours away, and we are considering taking the Mach-E. I decided to do a fast charge more locally just to see how it all works just in case. Everything was pretty smooth, I activated the charger via the new charge assist app inside the car which was neat. I personally didn't find the connector or cable to be heavy or difficult to manage, but maybe I just have bigger hands?
