I just got my first Flat on a rear tire this morning on a MME premium. It is my first flat tire on my personal cars and any rental cars ever. I had a nail on a tire once on another car but the tire did not loose any pressure. MME was pulled into the garage in the evening and when I was about to leave in the morning the car gave out a warning that the tire had 15 psi left. There was NO notification on the app. I was able to pump some air to 40 psi and drove the car to a dealership. It was $25 to patch but come on it was the first flat after 20 years.

It was bound to happen. Do you view your tire pressure each drive or wait for the idiot light?

Discount tire uses plug patches, and it's a free service regardless of where you bought the tire.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread is about. You appear to be blaming the car for your flat?

Discount repaired a flat for us last month for "free"... but free turned into thousands of damage when they jacked it up poorly in the parking lot and it slipped off and crunched the door. Goes into the body shop later this month. I'm expecting that to take a while too since parts still seem tough to get for this thing. Gonna need a new door panel at minimum, maybe the fender panel too.

They were good about accepting responsibility and are paying for the repair (I posted a whole thread about it last month). Accidents happen. But still sucks.

That's why I use the battery crush rails as jack points. After watching a battery teardown / uninstall, and looking at the rails themselves, it was clear what they were.
