First Scratch…..

I went away for 12 days. I left my Mach E in the hands of my son, while I took his Jeep to the airport……and when I returned, this.……. And someone knows they did it, as it was wiped off with fingers in the photo….no one has come clean yet.

but with about 20 mins of my elbow grease, a microfiber, cotton cloth and some compound, it’s gone. ……. The scratch X not so much, I tried it first for 8 times, it seems to have some oils that fill the scratch, not remove it, but the TW compound seemed to remove it in 2-3 applications, and with a sturdy cotton cloth. Recoated with Hybrid Solutions ceramic and it’s like new again.

I scratched my RR CaRt1 a couple of months ago. Right rear door, plastic trim pieces, aero cover and wheel. Turned a corner a little too close, caught the corner of a stone planter pulling into a driveway. 6 weeks to get the replacement trim pieces, wheel was re-painted, aero cover replaced, door was removed (did you know the doors are aluminum?) and it took 3 days to repaint/clear coat. Cost me $500 deductible + a small premium increase.

. Total bill from repair was over $2600. Got it back last week. I cannot tell it was ever damaged!

yup, that's an easy one by the OP. The deep wider ones are the problems which generally require a professional touch to get similar results. .
