Push often right in between the lock and open button a bunch. It'll crack, Ford will replace it. I'm working on making my passenger side bigger now as it wasn't big enough to justify them replacing it, yet.

You can try wd40 on a paper towel. Spay it on the paper towel and hold it over the mark for a minute, then gently wipe away. If it's adhesive it'll come off.

Dolly protects the cars. No one messes with dolly! In the 90’s I worked at a theme park music shop(I was 18-19). They sold autoharps. That was a cardboard dolly with an autoharp. It’s held up well for being 30 years old.
