First Sync glitch after 2 weeks ownership

Yesterday, I received the Sync 3.5.3.3 and immediately noticed that I couldn't load either of our profiles. It was just stuck on the guest profile. A Sync reset has fixed it for now. We'll see how long that lasts. Should it be good practice to reset sync after any powerups or only if I experience issues? LOVING this car so far!

I think the downside is the updates are Screwing up our cars.

This profile bug looks like it will be around for a while. Even the latest Sync update with the refreshed gui doesn't fix it.

I did a master reset a few weeks ago and recreated all of the profiles. It has been working perfectly since then even with daily remote starts. I believe the key was to recreate the profiles but either way something I did corrected the issue.

I thought I had corrected the issue too. But after a few weeks, it happened again. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I mitigated it by setting the guest profile to match the settings of my profile, but it's still annoying.

I ended up deleting all my profiles so only Guest remains. Even that one doesn't load correctly every time.

Did you do a master reset that deletes everything? Otherwise, I can't seem to find a SYNC reset.

No. Simply hold the volume button on the steering wheel down, and the search right button next to it at the same time for up to 10 seconds until the screen goes dark. That'll reset it.

3.5.3.3 was downloaded last Thursday which broke the profile setting. But, it appeared to be fixed when update 3.5.4 was installed yesterday (Friday). I was able to load my profile yesterday and it worked this morning as well. But, I reset the sync system as you suggested and now it's broke again. I'll try resetting it again but in the meantime, I changed all the settings for the guess profile to match mine.

One thing I noticed is you can go into the profile settings, try to select a different profile, and the seat will adjust for that profile. But, the other settings do not change and the profile remains as guest.

I had my car for 18 months. Many times including yesterday i get in the car and it goes to guest profile I tried multiple time to move it to my profile and it wouldn't change. Then last night I tried again and it moved it back to my profile. It' weird but it happens now and then and in my case at least 6-8 times. It seems like something in the background must be updating and causes it but I am guessing.
