This is the first trip I have taken that required dc fast charging. I started this trip with 5k miles on my Mach e. Today I traveled from Houston area to Killeen and back to see my grandson lift in weight competition. First I had to drive to pick up my daughter and then go to the competition. She lives close to 290 so I picked her up and we go to the outlet mall in round rock that has plenty of dc fast chargers. I’m at 44% and charged for 10 minutes and on our way.
We watched the competition and stopped at the same place on the way back. I was down to 13%. I plugged in and started charging. We went to eat and when I got back to the car it was at 86%. When I got home I was at 20%.
Great trip and no range anxiety as gps mileage and GOM tracked to 10 miles.
EA chargers worked fantastic.
