Fix for trunk switch

I already had the recall done on my 21 Mach E select for the sealant on the trunk, the switch stopped working a few weeks ago and I changed it and I guess water is still getting to the switch because the switch stopped working again and I can see that water is still getting to the switch,I can’t seem to find how water is still getting in,anyone had to deal with this and how did you fix it ? I’ve ordered another switch but would be nice to know of anyone else experience with this switch problem and what was the fix ,the other trunk switch works perfectly.
