Ford Charge Station

I just got my email from Ford to get my free Charge Station and another from Qmerit.

What is interesting is that Ford is sending me a Charge Station Pro, not the Charge Station. I'm not complaining, just seems odd since the Mach-E can't charge back to the house nor take 80amps. Just seems a little overkill for the Mach-E

This has been discussed before. Ford is getting rid of charger stock and the Pro is still available.

My '24 Rally came with the Pro charger as well. It's no big deal - just configure it for 48 amps (or less) and it will work fine.

I don’t know if I had the urge to just spend $20 but since I still have my Ford charger on the wall, but I don’t have anything currently to charge, I bought a J 1772 to NACS adapter in case a Tesla dropped by lol have a safe Fourth of July weekend

If you have the Ford Charge Station Pro, that's not going to work. You need a CCS to NACS adapter, such as this - https://a2zevshop.com/products/thunderstorm-lite?_pos=1&_sid=be0393063&_ss=r&ref=Typhoon

You're good! A J1772 to NACS works just fine on your charger.

If you had the Charge Station Pro, it has a CCS connector on it like you would have a DC fast charger. And then the J1772 to NACS adapter wouldn't fit on it because of the lower DC charge pins, which the Charge Station Pro uses for return power from the Ford Lightning to your house. In that case, you either have to modify your J1772 adapter a bit with a Dremel tool or buy an adapter like @RickMachE pointed to.
