For those of you who have already purchased or are considering the Ford Connected Charge Station, the Apple iOS app is available for download.

So this resolves some speculation and questions:

The station is made by Webasto.

Bluetooth is used to configure the station's WiFi:

Station settings will be incorporated into the FordPass app:

Set up is not unlike what I went through with the Chargepoint app+charger. Looks like one benefit of the Ford charger is the integration with the Fordpass app.

That said, given the current state of the Fordpass app, I'm not sure that's a good thing. :/
