My Ford Connected charging unit stopped charging my ME. No fault lights. How do I delete the charger from Fordpass so I can reinstall? Also, my wifi name chaged and I can't figure out how to get the unit into setup mode. The owner's manual is useless on both of these questions as is the ford website.

First step is to cycle the breaker to see if that will restore it to working order.
If not, you'll need to install the setup app from Play Store or IOS App store on your mobile. Then you connect to the station with BT and enter its ID (which can be found on the owner manual) as prompted by the app. and your WIFI name and PW. If you do not have the ID you will need to remove the outer cover and look for a sticker on the inner cover.

Thanx. I did exactly what you said. I even left the breaker off for about 8 minutes. I used the Ford Connect app but it never synch'd to my phone. It saw the charger and auto entered the charger ID. Next step was to enter the units password (##-###-###). After that the charger never connected to my phone. It kept working at it for 12 to 15 minutes but never synch'd. I did this several times...:(

Now, I want to delete my charger off of Fordpass but i can't figure out how. I tried "add new charger" and it goes to the same point, but then refuses to synch up.

Don't delete your charger from FordPass. It won't help right now, since you said your home WiFi setup has changed.

What you'll want to do instead is one of:

1. Change your home WiFi name and password back to what it used to be.

2. Or, set up a "guest network" WiFi name and password on your home router, if it has that capability. Use the old name and password.

3. Or, get the Ford Charge Station Setup app to reconfigure WiFi on the EVSE.

I know you tried option 3 and it isn't working... But you will need to keep trying. I also have a TON of problems getting that connection to work. But eventually it will. You will need to try things like restarting your phone, turning bluetooth on and off, etc.

You can't re-add the station to FordPass until the station is back on the Internet (via your home WiFi).

Also, not being on WiFi should NOT prevent you from charging your vehicle, UNLESS you enabled access control on the charge station. If you have access control enabled (single blue dot in the center of the light bar) then you will need to get it back on WiFi using the charge station setup app. Or you could probably do a factory reset but it requires turning off the power circuit and then taking out a ton of screws to get to the EVSE's circuit board.

I got the Starlink satellite system and it won't let you set up a guest account. BUT I restarted my phone and cut the power for a couple of minutes and then like magic everything connected up and I was able to change the wifi name. Everything seems to be working again. Thanx tons for your suggestion!
