Anyone buy and use the Ford Connected Charger? If so how well does it work and what AMP 240V receptacle did you have installed?

The Ford Connected Charge Station is designed for a hard-wire install (not a plug-in install) ... although it wouldn't be hard to adapt it to a plug-in install.

It uses a set of dip-switches to set the charging amperage with choices of 48, 40, 32, 24, 20, and 16 amp choices. You can further reduce it in software but you can't increase it in software above the limit you set in the switches. This offers some protection against someone trying to just turn up the amperage in the app to a point above what your circuit breaker can offer.

The charger is made for Ford by Webasto.

There is currently a stop-ship on the charge station ... so not possible to get one at the moment.

It's nice features are that it is a 48 amp charger (the highest amperage L2 charger that the car can use); it's weather-sealed (it can be mounted outside in any kind of weather); it is a WiFi enabled charger that you can remotely monitor & control; it's controls are integrated into the FordPass app (there are other WiFI chargers on the market that use their own apps to remotely control); you can remotely lock/unlock it (a useful feature if it is mounted outside in a publicly accessible location and you don't want any surprises on your electric bill). There are other chargers on the market that have all of these features (with the exception of being integrated into the FordPass app).

If you already have your car and want a charge quickly, then consider one of the choices such as ChargePoint, Enel X, etc. (also check to see if your local power company offers a rebate on a home EV charger. Mine did ... but only if I bought one of the chargers on their list.)

If you do not already have your car, the car will come with the Ford Mobile Charger ... which can plug into a NEMA 14-50 plug-in outlet (max 40 amp power draw ... but I think the Ford Mobile Charger is a 32 amp charger if I'm not mistaken (I haven't even taken mine out of the car to look at it since I have a wall-charger already).
