I know US dealers are bad, but I've heard nothing but terrible things about UK dealers and issues there.
Well I don’t if I am fortunate but my Essex UK Ford dealer has been fantastic as have the Ford BEV team. No complaints here.

My only experience of buying Fords in UK (Mustang GT then Mach E) has been through them...

Not sure where you reside. I’m in Vancouver BC, and I can tell you from almost three years of ownership Brown Bros Ford on Marine are simply the best. They know this car inside and out. Never had to go back for any return visits. Any issue, and I mean any, resolved first time.
That's great, that's how it should be. Do they provide loaners? It was a surprise to find out that the closest Ford dealer to me provides rental cars, not loaners. ?

I'm in the Seattle area, for what it's worth.

Constant "pre-collision assist" or front camera not available, and no fix at least here.

oh and "incomplete" sync OTA update stuck..

I have 3 dealers in my area. One of them doesn't service Mach E's at all. The other two have only one guy each that knows how to service Mach E's and you need to leave your car for some days to get any sort of help there. The one closet to me says that the Mach E needs No routine scheduled service at all regardless that it actually does if you check you Ford Pass app. Pretty pathetic situation if you ask me.

I am intending to create a word document of questions to ask the dealer, should I choose to buy an MME.

Do they have a person who has mastered Ford software, and who is available on fairly short notice via appointment? Note, if they are good most problems could be handled in a few minutes.

Will they schedule appointments requiring hard to replace parts without demanding possession of my car, assuming the car is safely drivable?

What is their 'loaner' policy while the car is under warrantee, and after that? Note, I woud not be fussy about what car it is. I need 'wheels'.

Is the car up to date on all software downloads? Will they coach me on iPhone connections, and setting up Ford Pass?

Additional questions welcome. I am pretty easy going but I do expect a car that works. MMEs have a pretty good reputation. At this point Lyriqs do not. Dealerships that do not provide this sort of assurance may have found that they are losing too much money servicing just purchased EVs (As any number of Cadillac dealerships).
