Anyone know what the highest order number confirmed shipped is currently? Outside those orders in the 8000s that were sent out by mistake that is. My order is in the low 1500s and has not been shipped yet.

In this thread, most everything has been <100 (other than the 8000's). There was a low-600's reported, and another in the high 200's. That's the highest I've seen, but it's a bit disconcerting that nothing else has been reported around those ranges.

In this thread, most everything has been <100 (other than the 8000's). There was a low-600's reported, and another in the high 200's. That's the highest I've seen, but it's a bit disconcerting that nothing else has been reported around those ranges.
My number was in the mid to high 200s and I got the adapter in the initial correct shipment.

Haven't heard of anyone getting a shipment email in some days. Was hoping we'd see reports at a steady pace. Not sure if it's just no one reporting or the first batch went out all at once and the next batch may not be for a while. Probably the latter.

We leave in 3 weeks for a 6000 mile trip. Hoping my estimated May delivery shows up before we leave but probably a coin-flip at this point. Thought maybe they were ahead of schedule when a bunch came on the 5th, but pretty much silence since. :confused:
All you can do is hope for the best and plan for the worst. It'll show up when it shows up.

There were several of us in the 0800-0900 range that received it in the first-ish shipment. I received mine (order 0814) 3-4 days after others.


EDIT: I should also add, I have never received a shipment email. In fact, the website still shows Est. Ship Date of April 2024 and I have had the adapter for almost two weeks.

Of course. Already planned the trip using mostly EA. But more options (and backups) are a big plus.

Got no control over it. We just come here to talk about it. :sunglasses:

I'm planning a trip, too, and hoping for delivery beforehand. The adapter is like a physical version of an OTA update - everyone wants it but has no control over when they'll get it! :LOL:

Thanks for the response. Yes, I have plug and charge working at EA. And yes,
when I sign in it comes up with a robust Hello Mark and Mary, description of the car, and the vin. Above it in red is this:

When I click on it, it takes me to a page that has all the available connected services—Alexa, BlurOval, Nav, Blue Cruise. When I click on “manage” in the BlueOval Charge Network, it goes to another page that tells me I’m active, what the key features are, my credit card info, and “Check out our how-to info.” When I click on that, I get “How do I pay for public charging for my Ford Electric Vehicle?” That, ironically, includes “To pay for a charge session automatically at BlueOval™* Charge Network or Tesla Supercharger stations, leave Plug & Charge enabled in FordPass®**.”

Last, on the app under Blue Oval Charge network, then plug and charge, there are green checkmarks next to EA AND Tesla!

But nowhere do I see how to reserve.

Mark, I am out of ideas except to recommend you call Ford CS and ask them if they can order it for you. I called them because I was having trouble accessing the Connected Services section on the web page, but it turned out it was a site wide issue and not specific to my account. While we were talking, she said she could order my adapter. Of course I already have it so that was unnecessary.

Yep. I have been a member of a Rivian forum for a couple years and follow it regularly. They are also complaining about how Rivian is handling it.

People just assume it is easy to send out free adapters without consideration for all the things that can go wrong when human beings are involved. And on a side note, Rivian is losing billions a year and they really can't afford to send out free stuff. I boggles my mine they doing something that fiscally irresponsible.

Anyway, I prefer the order method Ford is using. I think it should be up to the owner to request it. If they don't request it, then why should Ford send them one? Do they really need it?

I was at an EA charger in Vegas about 2 weeks after the ordering site went live. Yep. The order method itself was OK (going in and saying you wanted one and confirming your current shipping address). It's the shipping priority that Rivian is doing right and Ford failed on IMO. Should have been prioritized by vehicle purchase date (FIFO), not whenever someone randomly (blindly) found out a line was created at 5am PT with no advance warning. And then ended up 4 months behind because they didn't hear about it until noon. That's just bad.

It's a bit strange that Ford shipped out a few hundred adapters in one batch and then nothing since. I wonder if the same logistics company is handling this for all companies receiving the same Tesla adapter. That is, perhaps they shipped a batch for Ford, now they're shipping a batch for Rivian, then perhaps next week it'll be another batch for Ford, then maybe a batch for GM, etc.
