Ford Options Ballon refinancing in 2026

If anyone using Ford Options has refinanced their balloon in 2026, I'm curious to know the refinance rate obtained (since the contract with Ford Credit allows for a finance rate up to 5 points greater than the original).

I did it in November of last year. I reached out to Ford Credit via phone call and simply told them I wanted to exercise the purchase option. The CSR made note of it, passed along the choice to whatever department handles the Options thing. Then I got a Docusign to extend the financing for 36 months at the original APR.

1.4% financing is amazing and a no-brainer. I’d do a 10 year car loan at those rates.

Just did it, like yesterday. My finance rate remains 2.7%.
