Ford wants around $600 for their Power Cord. This is the list price when you buy a new car. This seems like a rip off. Does anyone have a recommendation that will work in 110 and 220 for my Ford Mach E?

Yes there’s plenty of third party options that are better and cheaper than the Ford one.

Depending what you want or need. Portable, hardwired wall mounted, plug in wall mounted.

Emporia, wallbox, ChargePoint, grizzl-e make wall mounted units. Tesla also makes a Universal Wall Connector that has both Tesla and J1772.

Lectron, Grizzl-E mini for portable ones.

You can also get the official Tesla ones with a Tesla plug but you’ll need an adapter.

$600 also gets you the Tesla adapter.

Strange when I look up the Ford mobile charger I see a price of $445.20.

I’m using it but only because I got it for free.

I would certainly buy a third party one instead.

Thanks for the feedback. The price of $500 is on the window sticker when you buy a new car.,

Any mobile charger with a J1772 connector will work on your Mach E. It’s a standard connector. You’ll find recommendations here, in other posts, or watch State of Charge on YouTube.

This will do everything you have asked for at a great price. I've been using it since the beginning of October with clean results for home charging. I put my Ford Mobile Charger EVSE in the trunk as a backup after more than 4 years of good service.

I’ve noticed parts can vary a lot depending on what dealer you are buying them through. For example, in the Twin Cities, a new 12v battery cost from $119 - 192

I have the Grizzl-E Mini Connect 40A, comes with a bag and any adapter you will ever need. The amperage can be set with an app to adapt to the breaker size you have and that would be, breaker amps x .8 = setting amps.

Invest in the Tesla Mobile Charger it has the most options for plug attachments and it's a stronger smarter self regulating charger than the Ford mobile charger or a third party one. I use it on a 50amp breaker, 240 plug at home, Ford pass app reads it charges at 7kw using an adapter.
(I also have the Ford Pro Charger for my Lightning, 80amps on a 100amp breaker, used it on the Mache and get the max 11kw the Mache can take as it only has one on board charger as my 2023 Lariat Lightning has dual on board chargers can take the 80amps)

If you look on Market place there's lots of them for half the price.
