The issue is entirely with the Charge Station Pro, it sounds like. So why does that make the car a “half assed prototype”? Reliability and consumer satisfaction on the car are good. See if you can return the pro charger and get something different? Or ask Ford to replace the Charge Station Pro? Most of us have zero issues or only minor issues charging at home. I use PaaK, scheduled charging windows, departure times, and auto updates. I agree, none of this is “normal”. Have you tried a different charger? (L3 DCFC or a neighbor / friend / buddy with an L2 at home). Keep on Ford support like a fly on a turd. They need to make this right.

If you have to turn off settings in the car, then it’s a car issue too.
