FordPass 4.24.2 for Android crash fix?

Since I updated to FordPass 4.24.0, it has consistently crashed running on my P7P when starting up the MME. Maybe 10 seconds after turning the car on, I'd get the Android crash popup with options to Close app, Wait for app, etc. Really the only thing you can do is Close app there. I always re-started FordPass after that and it would sometimes crash again, and perhaps again, but eventually it would remain running. The prior version I had did not crash and I had been trying to see if I could somehow downgrade, but it doesn't seem easy.

I've been checking multiple times a day to see if there's an update and boom, 4.24.2 just showed up. I upgraded and did quick test by starting up the MME and there was no crash. I probably need to monitor it a few more days, but so far, it seems better. Fingers crossed!

I sure hope so... checked for an update and updated as soon as I read this post. Yesterday I browsed the internet on my phone for a few minutes and it kept popping up so I hit submit feedback every single time. It's been quite frustrating seeing the "no key detected" pop up every single drive because the app crashed shortly after getting in the car each time.

Haven't had a single crash of the app since updating to 4.24.2. I also noticed that I no longer get the "SDL" notification so I think it's a safe bet to say that they tried to integrate SDL support and had to roll it back with this update (and called it a "bug fix" in the patch notes) to address the issues it was causing.

I think I probably didn't dip into that thread because the title specifies Pixel 7/pro while this one was titled Android 4.24.2

Updated to 4.24.2 and now my preferred charging time won't stick. I set my time for 8pm to 8am (off peak) and Save. In the morning I get a Ford Pass message that charging did not start at the scheduled time. I check Ford Pass and it has reverted to charge anytime. Luckily my charger app starts charging at 8pm.

Thanks for the info. Yes! The crashes were consistent that my wife kept nagging me to switch to iPhone.
