The app seems to be stuck on info from several days ago. Location and percentage of charge are not updating while the rest of the app seems to be functional. Do I simply have to uninstall/reinstall the app?

Check Ford.com. If the data is wrong there, your problem is with the car, not the app.

I didn't know about being able to check those at ford.com. I suppose I need to register there? I purchased my MME used, so I haven't initiated any connection with ford, that I now of, other than getting the app on my phone. Thank you, I'll check it out now.

Ok, Ford.com shows my vehicle fully charged, which is correct, but the app still shows 40%. So do I delete and reinstall the app? I just want confirmation that that's the best course of action. I don't want to trigger some quirkiness unnecessarily.;-)

I’d try force-closing before resorting to delete and reinstall.

You’ve probably discovered by now that the credentials you setup with the app are the same as ford.com. I had my online account since before Ford had an app.

I have the same problem, but those solutions haven't worked.
I mentioned this yesterday in a different thread, but...

The 'stuck' Ford app (not updating location and charge) were exact symptoms I was recently experiencing. As for the Ford app, I tried force stop, delete and reinstall, all to no avail. Someone suggested 'is your car's clock correct'? I checked and lo and behold my car's time was showing AM when it should have been PM. Not sure how that happened, but resetting the car's clock made everything OK. Location returned and charge showed current. Weird.

Great info. Some Sync updates throw the clock out. I normally have it set to automatically update time but the Sync update last week turned that off and changed the time, causing a number of different errors. The most obvious was charge window timing.

Today, I first tried the fuse removal to no avail, so I ended up disconnecting the battery for a full hour. Neither has had any effect, but I have also lost my PAAK with one of the resets and I cannot re-pair with my phone. I will have to wait for Ford to figure this one out.
