I have a Pixel 6 I got in July with Android 12. It replaced a Pixel 3 that worked pretty well other than really bad battery life.
I think I am having a hard time with the Bluetooth on the Pixel 6. I think it started after the update that installed Android 13.
I use a Garmin watch for running, and I use Phone As A Key for my car, which both use background Bluetooth. After the 13 update my PAAK was a little less responsive, but my watch was way less likely to connect to my phone. It will consistently connect after I restart the phone, but then disconnect anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour later.
While my car was away for the HVJB fix my watch connected nicely to my phone. I got the car back Monday and since then I am having a hard time keeping my phone and watch connected.
When my watch disconnects from the phone, I can cycle bluetooth all I want on the watch and it does nothing. I have to reset BT on the phone and force close Fordpass and then it reconnects quite quickly. I feel like Fordpass and the Garmin background processes must be fighting somehow?
I have reset everything that I can think of to try to reinitialize on the phone, the watch and the car since Monday and nothing seems to work. Are there any log files or anything I might be able to pull from the phone to see what is going on with the Bluetooth? I will say the Bluetooth is working fine on my headphones.
I don't know where to begin with troubleshoothing this.
