Try quitting the app and rebooting your phone. It thinks PAAK isn't set up.

It's not only their servers, their code seems to be complete dogshit. Look at your car's dashboard on the site (not app) and open up the network tab. You know the little icon that shows your car? That tiny little image takes 2 seconds to request, and it's making over 20 calls to get it, each one taking anywhere from 1-2 seconds.

I thought maybe it was the browser acting funny but no, the headers on the request all show different requestIds... I have no idea wtf those devs are doing but it's wild.

My guess is that they want to get EVERYTHING all at once to make it feel faster, which is a bit dumb since it's still slow as molasses.
Ever since I bought it, my car icon refuses to show up because the call for that image from the server gives a 404. I submitted a ticket but they don’t seem to care to fix it, cause they said it was a known issue. I just don’t get to see an image of my car on the app or the website I guess.

Try quitting the app and rebooting your phone. It thinks PAAK isn't set up.
Thanks @Mach-Lee but I have tried a full reinstall. I did get a new phone but it shows up in my PaaK list. I might just have to go through the process a few times until it takes.

Thanks @Mach-Lee but I have tried a full reinstall. I did get a new phone but it shows up in my PaaK list. I might just have to go through the process a few times until it takes.
FYI if FordPass has a glitch, resist the temptation to instantly reinstall/reset it. Wait a day. Sometimes reinstalling does more harm than good if you try that during a server outage, since it can't authorize/download your keys again. I didn't touch anything during the outage and mine works fine.

Troubleshooting steps (Retry after each step, keep going until it works):
  1. Reboot app
  2. Reboot phone
  3. Drive and park car
  4. Wait a day
  5. Delete/recreate key from app
  6. Reinstall app
  7. Reset Phone as a Key (SYNC screen)
  8. Pull Fuse #19 for 5 min (fixes issue of PAAK stuck trying to connect to vehicle)
  9. Pull Fuses #11, #19, #21 for 5 min (or pull 12V battery terminal)
  10. Switch off connected services (SYNC screen) and delete/re-add Mach-E from FordPass
  11. Perform Master Reset
  12. Take it to a dealer

Good lord 😂. You forgot "kneel facing east at sunset and hold up a live chicken as an offering". Fortunately, removing my phone from the PaaK list and adding it back did the trick.

I find this totally outrageous. Why does Ford insist on using servers powered by gerbils? They get tired, or hungry, and need a break. When they do, the servers stop functioning.

Wait, wut? Ford uses state of the art technology? Really? Do you sell bridges also?

If I were a Ford Tech executive, the unreliability of FordPass over the past few years would be totally embarrassing to me.
The service is unreliable and the app is a total POS. Ford wants to pretend they are becoming a software company but it's clear they need dramatically more investment into their technology offerings.

Yep. I get the idea Ford figured this out because my Lightning was in no-cell lane for three days with no issue.
Interesting. This would explain why My PAAK Farked when I went to Japan for 3 wks. The car went into deep sleep and wouldn't connect with my phone.

I had this problem back in Jan. I could not download the key to my phone for whatever reason. it would always fail. Prior to that, PAAK has been working for 9 months.

Doubt this has anything to do with server outage, but FordPass has been...optimistic about my range projections recently. Kind of strange, because the trip planner has been surprisingly useful from time to time, in being able to send locations to the car etc.

Was able to start remotely, which then allowed an update on car info for the first time since Saturday. However, walk away lock now does not work. PAAK did not work, but I was able to remote unlock. At the bottom of the home page of the app, there is a button to Set Up Phone as a Key, but when I attempt, it won't accept my PIN, and when I get past that, I get an error message that my key name is not a duplicate with a red triangle. Won't go to NEXT. Apparently, the app is trying to install my phone as a second key, even though my phone has worked fine for 2 years. I tried a second time and now can't get past the fingerprint scan step now. Fortuntately, my wife uses her fob in her purse approach.

AT LEAST TEST NEW SOFTWARE/APPS ON 1 ACTUAL CAR BEFORE YOU BREAK TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CARS!! WE ARE NOT YOUR BETA TESTERS!
