FordPass Remote Start Not Working?

Hey guys,

2022 GTPE and seems like (maybe) since the app maintenance the other day my remote start no longer works when over cellular (works normally close to the vehicle over bluetooth)

Anyone else experiencing this? Sometimes it looks as though it’s running and has the countdown/time remaining and yet the vehicle isn’t on. Seems strange.

Latest update shows ECG-24.2.5.6.1 … but I think it’s worked since that installed.

I believe I experienced this once (this morning actually) but for the most part it is working and I am quite sure it is at cellular distance and not just in the garage.

Same here, haven’t worked for weeks and seems it started happening after a priority ECG update. Tried resetting PAAK / settings in car, no dice.

Yeah I very well could be wrong on the timing of when the issue began.. untimely for sure with the cold temps rolling in.

By the way, do other commands works? I can’t do any changes to the car in the app these days if I’m not in the vicinity of the car or if it has been parked for more than 15-30 minutes. Seems all batteries are at fine levels too so not sure why the car aggressively goes to sleep (which I guess is the reason why we can’t send commands).

Forgot to mention, my car was delivered in feb 22 but it a job 2 21 car.

Interestingly it seems to be working normally today for both unlock/lock and remote start. Also interestingly climate controls now appear which weren’t there before… and the app version hasn’t changed as best I can tell.
