FordPass server down?

My pony is charging in the garage, all systems seem to be a go inside the car. Ford Pass on phone last communicated with car 8 hrs ago. Ford Pass does not show pony at all. Deleted and reinstalled Ford Pass. Now will not activate pony. ???

Try going to the vehicle page of FP and pulling down the page to get the refresh spinning donut. Repeat until it refreshes and says just updated. normally takes 3 refresh tries.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, it did not work. Ford Pass says it is connected via bluetooth to the car, but still, it will nit update. Last updated 9 hrs ago

Lol, you don't need to uninstall the app every time it doesn't update. The reason it doesn't update all the time is because there's no point, the information is likely the same.

Send a lock command, quit FordPass, reopen it a minute later and it will probably update. Otherwise go start the car.

Mach Lee…appreciate the suggestions. Have tried all of them to no avail. Usually these little gremlins just disappear with some patience. I’ve been very happy with all aspects of the Mach e for seven months and 11k miles. Of course minor glitches here and there. This is the first time it has lasted all day. Got a 700 mile trip tomorrow and a little nervous the Ford Pass won’t be working tomorrow. I appreciate all the input you have shared during your ownership. I’ve followed the Mach E Forum for a long time.

if the FordPass isn't communicating anything ...no stats, won't remote start, unlock/lock... you may need to restart the modem.

I made a video on the symptoms I had and the fix to pull the fuse.

You don't need to pull the fuses unless you have more stuff broken like Rob did (remote start not working, connected features not showing up, etc). But it's normal for the car to only update once a day if it's just sitting. Mine says last updated 16 hours ago, which is fine and normal because nothing has changed since then. It updates more frequently while charging.

Drove it three times today for >100 iles before it lost communication. Like I said, this is the longest its been glitching on me

I had a similar problem a few days ago. It fixed itself after the car went into deep overnight sleep.

If it doesn’t come back on its own, you can try turning off connected services in the car and turning it back on.

Rob and Mach-Lee it WAS the fuses!! Pulled them and now everything is back on! Thank you so much!!! Awesome! Owe you guys a beer when you come to San Antonio!! My trip to Dallas in the morning is safe. Happy New Year! I love this car (and this forum).

Hmmm...now Car Play won't connect wirelessly and the PAAK is not working. OMG...you mean I have to use a key fob!!??!! Like a regular car?!?

Guess I will take it into Ford to see what error codes are showing. First problems I've really had with this awesome car. And by problems I really mean, first world annoyances that have no impact on the functionality of the car at all. All nice to haves. This is still the best car I have ever owned and the most fun.
