Where does The tow hook go on the front of the car? I use that spot to put a front plate on my 911. Can I do the same for the Mach E?

I drove my last car for over a year without one and never got pulled over and have friends that have done the same for decades. No guarantee that they won't get pulled over tomorrow but it seems to not be worth the bother to most police officers.

I've been driving red sports cars in Texas since 1986, without a front plate. I've gotten pulled over twice for no plate: 1 warning and 1 ticket (in Dallas). I will NOT put a front plate on my red GTPE whenever it arrives.

From my conversations with police and DPS, the policy is to not bother about the front plate if that is the only problem. It is an easy $200 additional fine if they stop you for something else. Houston has been an exception where they will stop you for no front plate.

When I took possession of my 23 ME GT, I told the dealer specifically NOT to install the bracket. NOT going to install it and take my chances...

Same for me, specifically told the dealer NOT to install. I do have a bracket under the spoiler that I can quickly put in back on. I keep it in the rear. Have had one year, no problem to date.
