during one of my numerous calls with Ford, I actually suggested that: the dealer should be required to make all software current before the car is delivered to the customer.

For those following this thread. the OPs car gateway is on "-LKA" rev. That leaves "-LKB", "-LKC", "-NAE", "-PAE", and any of the 6.x.x not yet received.

OP is one rev behind on the APIM (currently "-EC" when "-CC" is latest).

Door modules and ACM OTAs not yet received.

So if he can just start getting that gateway to update things would get back on track. I can't see his OTA Dashboard so I don't know where were are there.

another area of confusion for me regarding OTA’s has to do with the Wi-Fi/AT&T signal. i’ve been told by Ford on different occasions that although I have a weak AT&T signal in my area that should not affect my ability to get the OTA’s. my car is parked in my garage, and I have a strong Wi-Fi signal there, but my understanding is the OTAs come through AT&T cell signal. Also, since I’m retired, I don’t commute daily. So I don’t drive my car every day. I also have been told that could limit my ability to get OTAs.

let me know what ends up working for you.

I have a 2023 and have been stuck at 4.2.3 since last month. I’ve only received 2 OTA since purchasing the car in August and was starting to wonder if I should take it to dealer to update everything. Interesting about the OTA potentially coming via ATT… my house has very spotty cell service but work is much better. I’ll swap my schedule and see if that gets everything back in line…

the most frustrating part of this for me is there’s no definitive way for the customer to tell Ford that you’re far behind on your updates or that you’re even missing updates. There’s so little information given to customers for their specific vehicle, that when Ford says your VIN is not ā€˜expecting’ any updates, you have no way to challenge. for example, when I went to my dealer a couple of weeks ago to get the 4.1.2 update applied, other owners had received it in January this year. That means I was 10 months behind - Is that considered a long time? there’s no way to know…
