Future frunk button location?

I was wondering if the plastic tab next to the front camera could be a place-saver for a future external frunk button? Perhaps to be installed when the release is approved and the dealer takes out the divider? It seems useless and out of place otherwise.

What does everyone think?

The plastic tab is for the front camera washer nozzle.
