FYI: Powertrain Control Module replaced

I thought I would share this. I have a 21 GT NP. So a couple of weeks ago an error of the Powertrain was being reduced was generating on my phone app and I wasn't able to exceed 88 mph. So the following Monday I took it in to the Ford dealership, they kept the car for almost 2 weeks and got it back today. They did a bunch of stuff, so I thought I would just post Ford's service copy here instead of me trying to break it down. BTW, the service manager was in contact with me every other day to give me updates.

Sorry this happened to you but this doesn’t look like a PCM replacement. It looks like they replaced the front drive unit (motor and transaxle assembly), which would follow with the symptoms and DTCs.

Yes, the front drive unit or motor was replaced due to a stalled oil pump (P0B0D and P0C2A). There have been a few cases of this happening. The PCM was updated, but was not replaced.

Thanks for posting...this may be what I'm about to deal with on my 21 GT PM. I can find any mileage on the document. It appears that there was no charge to you for this replacement. Was this done under warranty? Possibly the 5yr/60k Powertrain? (as opposed to the bumper2bumper or battery ones)

I had gotten rid of my 23GT back in December and Ford just called me. I’m just attaching the recall They told me I had on it and I told him I’d already sold it, so if this is the same thing you’re talking about it’s got two things in the recall, just sharing.

Don't quote me but I think they stated this was under the electric warranty, I don't remember but I think, it's 100k
