I remember this being mentioned on the forum but I could not find it so here goes. My MME is kept in a semi climate controlled garage and the temp is always between 50f and 80f. With that being said, is it worthwhile or efficient to precondition the mme in those temps? thanks

I’ve noticed mine brings the battery temp up to about 60F. In the winter my garage is around 40-45F. I don’t think you would see much benefit to setting departure times other than turning on climate control.

I drive in -40c a lot being in Canada. Garage and precondition really help keep the range. It really helps as the batter cold will eat a lot of power warming up

I wouldn’t bother. The battery will already be in a happy place.
