I would like to see a departure on demand command. 30 to 60 minutes before I know I'm leaving I want to be able to tell the car, let's get ready to go.

We all would. There's a poll on that (no I didn't make that one).

You can do just that at 61+ minutes and plugged into shore power.

There are a lot of easy software things that they just can't or won't do. Precondition now and a pet mode have been requested so many times since this car came out and there's no indication either will ever happen. But hey, we got a few new games and the karaoke feature is coming, so there's that

I already got the karaoke... It's pretty meh. Easier ways to break my car windows than have me sing ?

I really wish there was a way to have the car plugged in and warm the cabin using a departure time WITHOUT preconditioning the battery. I don't have far to drive for work and although it's wonderful getting into a warm car, I hate wasting the electricity to heat the massive amount of mass that is the battery.

There needs to be a departure "precondition" option as well as a departure "cabin" option.

Sure, I can unplug as soon as I get up but I could also start the HVAC via the app. I don't want to have to remember to do either.

If you set up a departure time well in advance of departing, without using a plug in scanner, is there any way to know that the battery has been pre-conditioned? The cabin, obviously, should be toasty, but how do you know that the battery actually IS toasty as well?
