Hi All,

Just wanted to create a post to say I will be the proud owner of a new 2023 AWD Mach E Select next week, finalizing the paper work today and it is being delivered early next week. This is my first EV and I am very excited.

Congratulations! Is that space white? Is it gray? Is it white? Who cares, it’s gorgeous!

Welcome to the group and enjoy your ride! The learning curve is steep if this is your first EV. Getting “gas” is different in every way. I started with a 110V Ford Mobile charger, and now I am confident pulling up to a Tesla station with a whole different plug. Make sure to factor in some learning time and search on this forum for any questions you might have. Once you get used to a different normal, you will love the Mach-e!

I envy your order to delivery turn around time !

Mine required a 6 month wait from order to delivery from a dealer that might have sold it out from under me if I hadn't kept calling Ford's service line weekly to find out when it arrived at the dealership ?.

Those were the good old days of getting a Mach-e !

Thank you! My previous car is a 2009 Mazda CX-7, I've been watching YouTube videos on EV ownership and videos on all the features of the Mach E and I imagine it will be like going from a rotary phone to a smartphone in terms of the upgrades but I cant wait to experience all the different features. I test drove a Mach E select and felt like I barely scratched the surface in terms of the different settings of the car.

In terms of EV ownership, I'm also very lucky to have free EV charging at my work and to reside in the SF Bay Area where charging options are plentiful (including the recent addition of the Tesla network) Definitely looking forward to not having to spend $200 per month on gas anymore!

Congrats, looks gorgeous!

Be sure to reserve the Fast-Charging adapter ASAP if you plan on road-tripping! I think reservations end sometime next month.

An EVSE too if chargers aren’t abundant and reliable where you live.

You’ll love it!

Welcome to the New World of EV! This site a great resource, but don’t be discouraged by the “5 O’clock News” parade of terribles. Not everyone will have the same problems. I’m a newbie too (March purchase) and have enjoyed my new hobby, that is, getting an education about all things Mach-E, charging, and EVs.

Congrats!

I'm sure that the Mach-E is a wonderful urban transport. Logic tells me that.

But rural spaces, as well as the outskirts of suburbia, it's brilliant too. So be sure to get it out somewhere and let it stretch its legs.
