Exactly what does that mean? I'm dense and don't understand. ?
The issue is, when you stand back and look at the side where the pinstripe tape is, the part that is on the center part of the doors is angled down while the tape that is towards the ends of the doors is more flat. You see the end of the doors more than the middle part unless you stand way back. I am thinking of removing the tape and applying it across the top of the black trim instead of the bottom of the doors and fenders. The black trim is all at the same angle (angled up) and would show off the tape a bit more and evenly. Will look into doing this later this week.
I agree with you Steve. I like simple but I also like trying new things. Takes me 1 minute to rip it all off both sides if I want to. That said, you may not like that I changed it.
Just washed my car and after 9 months of ownership, I can say this color is my favorite I've had on any car I've owned. I took it off the lower part of the doors and added it to the top of the black trim. It is more prominent and also equally visible since it is all at the same angle. I'm still on the fence with this but will leave it for a month or so and see how it goes.
You might be able to just throw some covers on those calipers instead of painting them like I did. I ordered a set from EV-Vida in a blue that is similar to Grabber blue to see how they fit/look for another member. Side bar question: Did you have to use wheel spacers in the front for the caliper covers?
