You still have to have a good thermal management system, since each battery cell still receives the same power when charging. I have two GM vehicle that charge at 800V and the biggest advantage is that current limited chargers do not affect the charge rate very much. I always get at least 300kw if the charger can provide 400A, but get 350 if they can output 500A. And even on an EA 150kw charger, I actually get 170kw because of the amount of current they can really output.
