Recently when driving places Android Auto connects and then for some reason maps starts to give directions to basically the last place we where at. I at first thought my wife had pushed some setting in her phone that was the cause, but today I went to a couple towns away (about 50 km) and when I started it to come home it started giving me directions and to be honest I am not sure where, kept trying to send me down gravel roads that do not connect to anything. When I eventually got into my town I went to the grocery store, being it is -25C out today I kept it running so it didn't get shut off and reset so it kept on trying to send me to our old house which we moved from 3 years ago and didn't even own the Mach-e at the time. When I finally got home it still wanted me to turn around and head a different direction. Our current address is in the google database with the old one deleted so I am baffled. This is just one instance, my wife says it will try to send her to locations we haven't been to in a long time.
I am tech savy but have no clue what is going on, anyone else having these issues or know what's going on. My wife and I both have Pixels, hers is an 8 and mine is a 9, with both updated software.
If this is some AI glitch then I guess we should be afraid like the tech bros are telling us.
