I've posted elsewhere, but here's mine (again):

It's my wife's EV now and she regularly gets compliments about the car and the color.

Traded in a 2021 Infinite Blue Premium for this 2023 Grabber Blue GTP. Will add better photos once the weather improves. This was taken 15 minutes after I drove it off the dealer's lot last week.

I gave my Mustang a bath last night and took this photo after getting off work.

Just checking in on 2 weeks of Mach E ownership. Lifelong car enthusiast that's always felt the need to have something fun in my life. I've never been afraid of being a little loud on the color palette either. Former cars include a black on 'burnt orange' 350z, a pearl yellow dodge stealth twin turbo, and most recently an Estoril Blue BMW 335i.

Said BMW (minor upgrades including chip and downpipe) had been showing signs of becoming a money pit for a while (the random thousand dollar issue followed by an ever worsening set of oil leaks) and I came to a crossroads. With 2 kids, I assumed it was time to sacrifice speed or luxury in the pursuit of a reasonably priced, later model car. Leading contenders were a 21 genesis G80 and a 20 Lexus GS350. My 'reach' cars included a '20 m550i or an 18 Macan Turbo. The G80/GS felt practical, reliable, but somewhat boring. The other two had me feeling like I'd be in the same "oh crap how much now" position again in a few years.

In walks the Mach E. I had seen the constant headlines of plummeting prices, excess inventory etc. I had friends with Model 3/Y's which were fine, but the second I sat in the Mach E I was BLOWN AWAY by how much more luxurious it felt. In a FORD! Not to mention the overall look of the car just put any Tesla offering as a secondary option.

From there, I set my sights admittedly on Vapor Blue. Black, White, or silver simply weren't for me, and I figured Grabber Blue would be too loud and just too much for a father of two. I even considered a red GT at one point, but in came this 11k mile 22 GTPE. I must say the color on the sunniest of days can still be a bit much, but LOVE the black upper/lower pieces to tone it down. The wheels do a lot to darken the look as well. And for what amounted to 1/2 the sticker price, it felt a no brainer. The kids of course LOVE the color, and it's been surprising how even some of my more 'buttoned up' and conservative friends have reacted positively to the color. Anyway, I'm in the honeymoon stage and LOVING it so far. Here's to many more years staying in that zone.
