First time joining a forum. I'm a vehicle enthusiast with his first EV. This car is an absolute blast to drive and is quite comfortable. BUT who loves cars and keeps it stock!?
Grabbed a 2024 MME4xe in November on a killer lease deal after totaling my 2019 Fusion Hybrid. Took about a month to get over the range anxiety, but now I've learned to absolutely love this vehicle.

Welcome. I'm new too. We just got ours 3 weeks ago. Your right about the modification, I've always moded mine. I already have the rims, spoiler and smoke tints for the side markers in my living room. I just need to get the car detailed first.

First modification was to have a better 110v charger as 220v will be coming in the Spring. Lectron seems to have quality products as I've been using their 15amp model without issue: https://www.amazon.com/Lectron-Level-Charger-Certified-Extension/dp/B0C4DJ6GZG?th=1
This charger gives a solid 15-20 extra miles on an overnight charge compared to the provided charger from Ford. *charges at 1.5kW/hr vs Ford's 1.2kW/hr
Obviously, this isn't a permanent solution, but it does allow a backup charger that can always be in the vehicle.

Second modification included a quick polish with Turtle Wax Ceramic Polish and Wax followed by Seal and Shine. The paint absolutely pops, and will be OKAY through the winter. I can't wait to see the Grabber Blue once I have time for a proper polish and coating; I plan to use Car Pro Essence followed by Cquartz UK3.0 + SiC.

Interesting. Do you know how many miles you would get on a 12 hour charge?

3rd modification was all about noise levels and sound quality as the stock non-BO system is passable at best!
Added Infinity Reference 6.5" coaxial speakers to each door which is an easy install if you've done aftermarket speakers on any vehicle before. I will be doing a write-up for the accompanying Infinity Reference tweeters in the Spring when I finish sound deadening the floor (front half of floor). Look how cheap the rear speakers are!

One day I'll be able to afford a top quality CDL + CCF/decoupled + MLV setup, but for now I've had good results using Siless and Amazon products. Added ~60 sqft of CDL and CCF to the doors, boot, and the rear half of the floor. Sounds levels are not greatly reduced as the car is already whisper quiet, but the crispness of lower notes is DRASTICALLY improved. The BIGGEST difference has to be the stability of cabin temperature. I'm in western PA where it gets fairly cold in the winter. I hate the massive range hit from the cold and prefer not using the heater too much on my one day out of the week where I drive 120 miles. I would say the subjective improvement is about 20% less time with the heater on. The improvement could all be in my head, but I still plan on insulating the roof with Second Skin Luxury Liner once somebody makes a YouTube video of removing the entire headliner. Never did a headliner, but the comfort in the cabin is poor at single digits or colder in my opinion.

I'll keep my eyes open, sounds like some tasteful modding to come!

I suppose there are variables especially the fact the the charger will pull 1.7kW/hr randomly. I don't have any data for exactly 12 hours of charging with the 15amp Lectron charger. The biggest variable is the current state of charge. Here are few recent readings with the car parked in an unheated garage:

You’re averaging 1.45 kW on the 120v. So 17.5 kWh in 12 hours or 57 miles in a select and premium and 52 miles in a GT driving like a responsible human being.

Hey Travis (Tsf0001), I completely sound deaden/thermal insulate all my vehicles for the same reasons you do... NOT to make them quieter because it does little for that but mainly for better audio quality especially in the bass and like you mentioned, for the thermal insulation. It really does make a difference but for me I am not as concerned with the cold as I am with the heat. It rarely gets below 30˚ here but in the summer for several months it is over 100˚ and for several weeks, 110˚ and higher.

I've always used Dynamat sound proofing/heat control on all metal surfaces followed by Dynaliner closed cell foam thermal insulator on top. All four doors and liftgate deadened and insulated inside behind the window regulators and exterior behind the door panel. Entire floor, roof, rear quarter panels and cargo area. The only areas I treat for sound (mainly road noise) is on the exterior behind the fiber fender splash shields in the wheel wells.

You mentioned you also wanted to treat your roof and while It is a pain to remove the A, B and C pillar trim panels, plus the other items holding the headliner up, it can be done but takes time and patience. While I didn't make a video of doing this, I will include the Ford repair manual instructions on removing the headliner, A, B and C Pillar Trim Panels. A couple of tips. One, disconnect the battery since you will be dealing with unplugging air bags. Second, the manual recommends to lower the front seat backs to drop the headliner but it is much easer to work with when you just remove the front seats. Not only that, since you want to treat the floor, you have to remove the seats anyway to pull up the carpet and it is also easier to remove the B-Pillars when the seats are out.

I have photos of my sound deadening/thermal insulating of the entire car but they look similar to yours so no need to post mine but here is the left side of the passenger compartment floor and the roof that you haven't done yet.
