Hello all,

I have a 2022 Mach-E Select and just rolled 6k miles. As I was doing some normal daily driving, a grinding sound of some sort became noticeable while the vehicle was slowing down with the one pedal drive mode on. I was only a few miles from a Ford dealership and while on my way to it, the sound went from just slowing to normal driving. I also turned my one pedal drive mode off and it became substantially worse. Anyone have the faintest idea as to what or where it could be coming from? The best way I can describe it is it sounds like one of those spinning wheels with a device on it that slows it down. Almost like a prize wheel was put in the frunk. Of course my lovely dealership has to have it for a week before they can diagnose anything (which is another issue) and I'm left without transportation for the time being. This is the 3rd time it's had to go into the shop for issues with the vehicle. 1st was software not updating even though it was connected to WiFi, second was Low Jack being installed in the car without my permission from the same dealership before I took delivery of it which created issues with the rear hatch not opening.

Good morning! Can you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to take a closer look at your noise concern.

Obviously it’s just a wild guess, but it could be something as simple as a road debris getting stuck between the brake pad and rotor.
